  • Kirchenbuch Czarnikau Anno 1782 (wahrscheinlich Volume I ) welches von den Mormonen nicht vefilmt wurde. Nun entdeckte ich auf der Seite 196 / 197 folgenden Eintrag:  Der Husar des Usedomschen Regiment Martin Pettelkau ein Junggesell mit der Anna Koschitzken, des Frantz Koschitzkes Einwohner zu Rottey ( oder Rattey ) älteste Tochter am 8 ten September 1782 im Bethause allhier ( Czarnikau ) copuliert.Vielleicht hift es weiter. Der Film ist im  EZAB unter der Nummer F313 registriert.
  • “Johann Martin Pettelkau aus Czarnikau ist definitiv am 08.11.1787 in Czarnikau geboren und am 13.11.1787 getauft. Sein Vater war der Husar in der Esquadron des Rittmeister von Seherr-Thoß ( nicht Rittmeister von Sellin ), vom Usedomschen Regiment ( Husaren Regiment 7 ). ·         Marriage (Heirat) am 21.10.1855 in Filehne: PETTELKAU, Karl Ferdinand, Schneidermeister hierselbst (AGE) 24J. Sohn des verstorbenen Elias PETTELKAU, Einwohner zu Deutsch Westphalen bei Graudenz mit der Juliane ZOCH hierselbst, (AGE) 21J., Tochter des Schuhmachermeisters Friedrich ZOCK zu Putzig. Wobei dieses Putzig im Kreis Czarnikau lag. Deutsch Westphalen und Graudenz gehörten zu Westpreußen, also nicht zu Posen.

 

·         NOTE: Putzig Stadt is about half way between Stadt Filehne and Stadt Czarnikau. It is immediately to the west of the entry for Kreis Kolmar, above, and is west-southwest of Bromberg. These places are in an area known as the Netze District. This is an important entry because it tells us that Karl is the son of Elias who is a citizen of Deutsch Westphalen in Kreis Graudenz, Westpreußen and is not of Posen. In 1855 the area is still part of Prussia and is not part of the German Empire until 1872.
